About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and diligent individual to join our team as an Office Assistant/Office Boy. This role is crucial in supporting the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of our office and contributing to the overall success of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• General Office Duties:
• Maintain a clean and organized office environment, including common areas, workstations, and restrooms.
• Manage inventory of office supplies, restock as needed, and assist in ordering supplies.
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail and courier services, including dispatching and receiving documents and packages.
• Assist with basic office tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and filing documents.

• Procurement Support:
• Assist in the procurement process by gathering quotations and placing orders.
• Track material orders and ensure timely delivery from suppliers.

• Production Support:
• Assist production workers with any minor issues or challenges they may encounter

• Administrative Support:
• Provide general administrative support to various departments within the company as needed.

• Other Duties: Perform any other assigned tasks as directed by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong work ethic with a positive and proactive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Basic computer literacy (optional).

Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a proven track record in the material handling industry, specifically in the design and development of scissor lifts, goods lifts, dock levelers, and mobile dock ramps. This role demands a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, extensive experience with CAD software, and a passion for creating robust and efficient designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop new products, including scissor lifts, goods lifts, dock levelers, and mobile dock ramps, from concept to production.
• Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
• Conduct structural, stress, and performance analyses to ensure product safety and reliability.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and BOMs.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and production teams to ensure smooth transition from design to production.
• Research and implement new technologies and materials to improve product performance and efficiency.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in material handling equipment design.
• Troubleshoot design issues and implement necessary modifications.
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical support to other departments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in mechanical design within the material handling industry.
• Must have designed a minimum of 50 units combined of scissor lifts, goods lifts, dock levelers, and mobile dock ramps.
• Strong proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
• Excellent understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including statics, dynamics, and materials science.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Bonus Skills (Preferred):

• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with manufacturing processes such as welding, fabrication, and machining.
